RIDHE facilitates the workshop “Strengthening Capabilities in Project Management”

April 2.- RIDHE had the honor of facilitating the workshop “Strengthening Capabilities in Project Management”, organized by the Office of the Ombudsman of Costa Rica And the School of International Relations of the National University. 📌 In particular, we led the session on “The Human Rights-Based Approach (EBDH) in Cooperation”, with the objective of:

✅ Strengthen the capacities of the Ombudsman's Office staff.
✅ Integrate EBDH into project management.
✅ Promote cooperation strategies aligned with international human rights standards. 🔍

What is EBDH?

It is a conceptual framework that guides projects and actions towards human development, based on international human rights standards. Its purpose is to:

✔ Empower those responsible for obligations (state institutions) to fulfill their duties.
✔ Empower rights holders (individuals and groups in situations of vulnerability) to claim their rights.

🌍 In a global context where international cooperation plays a key role in the eradication of inequalities, the EBDH acts as a fundamental pillar to ensure that every action contributes to the respect, protection and guarantee of human rights.
