With a Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean we produce and disseminate knowledge about social cohesion about social cohesion (Network of networks), protection of Defenders of human rights, upbringing in an emergency and humanitarian assistance with a focus on people in situations of forced mobility, sharing tools, evidence and examples of good practices that can be replicated in the different countries where we work.

We have more than 30 members of an active network and thriving.

Our areas of work and experience focus on advocacy in international law before the mechanisms of Universal System And the Inter-American Human Rights System 

Promotion of Innovation and Social Transformation Laboratories (LITS) for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

Naiara Chueca Lerchundi

Knowledge Generation and Mobilisation (GMC) Officer

She contributes to knowledge generation and mobilisation, the design of international projects and the development of strategic partnerships that advance social innovation, human rights and sustainable development. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Deusto and specialised training in internationalisation and business diplomacy. Her professional experience includes European programme management, international cooperation, strategic analysis and fostering collaboration among public institutions, universities, international organisations and civil society. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Basque.

Ángela Delgado

Coordinadora del Área Psicosocial

She has extensive academic training, degrees in Psychology (University of Costa Rica) and Pedagogy with a mention in educational administration from the Catholic University of Nicaragua (UNICA). She has more than 30 years of experience in psychosocial and psychoeducational processes.

At RIDHE, she is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating individual and group psychological care processes aimed at populations in situations of vulnerability.

Daniel Rakotozafi

Finance and Logistics

Responsible for administration and logistics. Ensures the organization’s proper operational, administrative, and logistical functioning. Provides key support to work teams through the efficient management of resources, internal processes, procurement, logistical scheduling, and administrative coordination, ensuring order, transparency, and compliance with institutional procedures.

Their work contributes to the smooth development of projects and activities, facilitating the planning, organization, and execution of operational actions.

Tsáitami Ordóñez

Communication and Procedures Officer

She specializes in strategic communication, planning and paperwork with international experience in academic mobility programs and projects with European organizations. Graduated from a degree in Law, Political Science and Administration.

Grecia Rivera

Human Rights Project Officer

Designs and implements social communication strategies in the field to make the organization’s work visible, strengthen public advocacy, and promote narratives grounded in human rights, social justice, and collective care.

Ensures a human rights, gender, intercultural, and non-revictimization approach in all content, and supports communication coverage of events, activities, and public actions.

Marta Castillo

Emergency Education Program Coordinator

Expert in humanitarian action and the right to education for children, young people and women. She has a degree in business administration and a master's degree in international cooperation for development.

Specialized in managing projects and obtaining funds, as well as in emergency response to people in situations of forced mobility, with a focus on education, cooperation and human rights.

At the RIDHE, she coordinates and promotes the social development of young people and women. Her interest is focused on strengthening civil society, citizen participation and the promotion of social justice.

Rebeca Pauwels

Regional Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean

Expert in community social psychology with a focus on people in situations of forced mobility. She has a degree in psychology, pursuing a master's degree in life psychology, with a focus on positive psychology and psychological coaching. She is an advanced trainer of the Dutch psychophysical methodology “Rock and Water”, which includes a specialty to accompany girls, boys and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.

At RIDHE, she works in the psychosocial area and coordinates alliances in Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, she supports the evaluation area to identify, evaluate and diagnose specific needs that allow the construction and subsequent implementation of actions and projects that contribute to rebuilding the lives of children, young people and women, promoting social inclusion, emotional and physical health of populations in situations of vulnerability.

Demetrius Romeo

Coordinator of UE-LAC programs

Experience in analyzing, monitoring and reporting on human rights for the strengthening of civic space and constructive dialogue. He has worked in the European Union in Honduras, at the Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL) and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (Inter-American Court of Human Rights) in Costa Rica.

At RIDHE, he is responsible for developing possible collaborations and partnerships with civil society organizations for the fulfillment of strategic objectives.

Rebeca Pauwels

Coaching

Responsible for coaching with a positive psychology approach, focused on strengthening emotional well-being, resilience, and the development of personal and collective capacities. Supports individuals and teams through processes of self-awareness, emotional management, and the construction of meaningful life and work projects, especially in contexts of change, stress, or vulnerability.

Integrates Roca y Agua tools, psychosocial care, and a strengths-based approach to foster motivation, autonomy, emotional balance, and conscious leadership.

Guillermo Benitez

Communication Officer

Specialist in social communication with a focus on migration and education. Master in International Relations and Communication, with experience in design, audiovisual and social media management.

At RIDHE, he has unleashed his obsession with human rights communication to achieve real impact and social transformation for people in situations of vulnerability.

Iona Bell

Sexual and Reproductive Health Project Officer

Specialist in humanitarian development and risk management with more than three years of experience in disaster management and social protection in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Europe.

She has a strong background in advocacy, research, project management, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and seeks to design innovative solutions that support populations affected by crises through inclusive, participatory, and locally grounded approaches.

Her work combines technical rigor with social sensitivity, aiming to strengthen community resilience and promote effective policies in vulnerable contexts.

Chloelia Richard

Policy & Advocacy- Education in Emergencies

She works as a programme assistant for Education in Emergencies, supporting the implementation and monitoring of projects in the Policy & Advocacy area and the Education in Emergencies Programme with populations in situations of forced displacement in Costa Rica.

Louis Dupré la Tour

Junior Communications and Advocacy Officer

As a third-year Bachelor’s student at Sciences Po Paris, he is pursuing a degree in politics and economics with a specialization in international relations. As part of his academic path, he completed a semester-long exchange at the Universidad de Chile, where he developed a strong understanding of political and social dynamics in Latin America.

Driven by his interest in human rights and international cooperation, he joined RIDHE to contribute to the organization’s legal and political monitoring, research activities, report drafting, and support for its transnational actions, particularly on issues related to migration and fundamental rights. In addition, he is responsible for communication, with the aim of highlighting the various events and initiatives carried out by RIDHE.

Ana Bellver

Psychosocial Care

Ana holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Granada and a Master’s degree in Executive and Sports Coaching and High-Performance Psychology from UNISPORT Management School. She also has academic experience at the University of East Anglia (Norwich, United Kingdom).

She has experience in research on Human Rights and gender-based violence, with a particular focus on field research and interviews with victims and witnesses to highlight their stories. She has worked as a volunteer in social initiatives, promoting child development and supporting older adults. Bilingual (Spanish and English), with skills in research and human resources. She is passionate about psychology and social impact.
