Humanitarian Assistance

El Humanitarian Assistance Project has been designed as a solution comprehensive and rapid to the urgent needs of people in situations of forced mobility in Latin America. This project reflects a deep commitment to the protection and well-being of Defenders of rights, reporters, leaders and leaders of indigenous and Afro-descendant peoples, as well as family members of political prisoners who face extreme risks due to contexts of repression, violence or political persecution.

The project focuses on the specific realities of the region, where the contexts of persecution, criminalization and closure of civic spaces have increased significantly.

Interventions are prioritized in countries with greater forced migratory flows and contexts of high vulnerability, ensuring that actions are relevant and contextualized.

Toast immediate and multidimensional humanitarian support to people in situations of forced mobility, guaranteeing the protection of their human rights, their safety and their psychosocial well-being, with an emphasis on strengthen their resilience and capacity to face the challenges arising from their situation.
