We are pleased to announce the signing of the Collaboration Agreement in Latin America with the National Union of Institutions for Social Action Work (Unitas), in Bolivia.

Unitas is a national network of 22 development NGOs in Bolivia and its mission is to contribute to the generation of alternative proposals for development and social change towards a democratic, supportive, equitable and just society. Unitas works together with social movements, popular organisations and other Civil Society Organisations that are development actors in their own right.

The objective of the agreement is to promote efficient and effective actions for the promotion and defence of Human Rights. This collaboration will allow both organisations to strengthen their work, by creating conditions that contribute to the development and fulfilment of fundamental rights without distinction.

Within the framework of this alliance, we were honoured to participate in the course “Using law as a tool for social transformation”.

On this occasion, our colleague Winnye Bernard was a speaker on the topic of « International mechanisms for the protection of rights”.
